An independent site

dover-dunkirk.com is an independent travel information site published by FerryGoGo B.V. We are not the official website of DFDS, nor of any other ferry operator, port, tour operator or tourist board. We have no connection with DFDS, P&O Ferries, Irish Ferries or Eurotunnel, are not endorsed by them and do not act on their behalf. For a booking, a change, a cancellation or a refund, contact the company you booked with.

Accuracy of the information

We check facts against the publications of DFDS, DirectFerries, the Port of Dover and the governments concerned, and name the source on the pages where it matters. Every content page carries the date it was last checked. Even so:

  • Sailings change. The departure board shows the timetable as the booking system knows it at that moment. Delays on the day are not always shown. Confirm the departure time for your date with DFDS or in your booking confirmation.
  • Prices change. Amounts quoted are published from-prices at the time of checking. What you are offered depends on date, sailing, vehicle and availability.
  • Rules change. Travel documents, border controls, vehicle dimensions, pet requirements and customs allowances are set by the operator and by the British and French authorities, and can change without notice.
  • Weather and sea. The weather maps and the wind-force table are an aid, not a forecast by DFDS. Whether a sailing runs is the operator’s decision.

We compile this information with care, but to the extent permitted by law accept no liability for decisions taken on the basis of it, nor for the content of websites we link to.
